Los Angeles Actor Headshots
Traditional headshots are black and white and show little more than the head. Originally they were actual silver-based black and white photographs. Due to the lower cost of printing lithographic reproductions in quantity, actors began using headshots printed with ink on a printing press. Now, digital printing presses make color lithographic reproductions more economic and many actors are now printing headshots in color. For small quantities, color photographs with digital typesetting are now being used.
This headshot was shot with black and white film, scanned and processed digitally. Pretty soon almost no one will use film.
